By James Kronefield

To understand depression and anxiety insomnia you must first understand insomnia. This is when a person has difficulty falling asleep on a regular basic. Occasionally something could be troubling a person that keeps then from resting properly and this is not the same as insomnia. It is when a person never seems to sleep or when they do sleep they do not follow the normal patter of a healthier sleeper. For example, instead of reaching the "REM" stage of sleep slowly like a normal sleeper would do, they may go directly to this stage which is not healthy for the person. depression and anxiety insomnia symptoms include having difficultly sleeping and then becoming depressed because of the lack of sleep.

A person with insomnia can lie in bed all night and never fall asleep. Many times they can just watch the minutes go by, which can make it even harder to fall asleep because you know you have to wake up at a certain time. Others fall asleep fast but then wake up all during the night, so they never get a good consistent sleep going like their bodies need. When a person becomes depressed due to the inability to fall asleep they are suffering from depression and anxiety insomnia symptoms and need to get help with this condition.

Depression and anxiety insomnia symptoms make it very difficult for a person to handle things that occur in their everyday life.
