Sleepless Nights May Be A Culprit For Making You Obese
By Javier Fuller
Having sleepless nights? Well! It is a big reason to worry about. Not because you have become less productive and feel sleepy the whole day in your office, but because it may not be the only
disorder that you may be suffering from. Your sleepless nights can land you up into more aggravated conditions, that can surely come heavy on your pockets.
There are several studies that show that insufficient sleeps reduce the production of certain hormones like leptin and ghrelin, to name a few. These hormones are very important as they are the
ones which are responsible for your stomach's hunger messages to be delivered to your brain. And not taking meals on time can disturb your whole digestive process, thus leaving open grounds for
obesity. So if you are short on sleep, just start worrying. Because your sleepless nights can be a big cause of your “all-hated” obesity.
The reasons for a good night's sleep in helping you to reduce your ever bulging out tummy are many. Of them the most acceptable is that a comfortable sleep at night makes you energetic in the
morning. So your energy tanks are full and you do more amount of work. This in turn helps you to burn more amount of calories, thus leaving no grounds for the extra calories to be stored in the
form of fats. The other reason is that a person who did not slept well at night will be low on his energy levels in the morning. To remove the body fatigue, he will consume more amount of food
material that will be rich in calories. Thus on the whole the calorie intake increases.
Apart from the quantity of sleep, the quality of sleep routine you follow is also very necessary. There are several conditions like, sleep apnea, wherein your overweightedness interferes with your sleeping routine. This turns into obesity.
Another hormone that is related with weight of a person is Cortisol. Over production of this hormone induces weight gain and also acts as a hindrance in your weight loss procedure.
While being in stress, there is an increase in the production of this hormone. This stress can be both physically and mentally disturbing. It is also excessively produced if you are unable to
get some proper sleep.
Despite all these facts, having enough sleep just not solves the complete problem. There are other things that you should also keep in mind. Exercise regularly and have a healthy diet.
This definitely seems like a vicious circle. And the only way to come out of it is by following a proper lifestyle. Try going to bed early. Follow meditation or a walk. Some of these add-ons to
your already existing lifestyle can do wonders for you. About the Author To read more articles on herbal weight loss, weight loss tips and obesity and weight loss visit http://www.thelosspill.com/
