Article marketing is undeniably a big business right now as more and more webmasters make high quality content a part of their search engine optimization techniques. If you believe that you can write high quality content you are probably wondering where you can submit the content so that it can be retrieved by web publishers and posted on their websites. There are a couple of places where you can submit your work so that you can market yourself and your services and perhaps even earn a couple bucks in the process.

Submitting your work to article directories is a great idea because it will likely be seen by a large number of people and has a good chance of being posted not just once but several times all over the Internet. This is a good thing for you because it will get your name out there. Many article directories pay their authors a small fee every time their articles are used, which is a nice little acknowledgement of your work. Even if you are not paid by the article directory if you have provided a resource box on all of your content you will find that you can get work from web publishers that like your writing style and your knowledge on specific topics. Most article directories require that web publishers keep your resource box fully in tact so that you get the credit you deserve when the article is published.
Submitting to article directories is usually quite easy. If you write all of your content in a word processor you can usually copy and paste it and simply submit it to the directory. Most directories have a review process to ensure that your content is well written, stays on task, and is not offensive in any way. If the piece passes all of the requirements it will then be posted for web publishers to view and post on the website if they are interested. If you can write on a variety of subjects you will find that you have more of your work posted than if you are only able to write on a couple of different subjects.
E-Zine Submissions
An e-zine is basically an Internet magazine that is emailed to subscribers once a week or every so often. If you submit your article to e-zines you will find that there are many readers that are interested in posting the article on their websites. Again, you will want to create a resource box so that you get acknowledgement for the content no matter where the content is posted. E-zines often go out to hundreds or even thousands of people, so your content can reach a lot of people with just one email, which is truly exciting. You’ll find that there are literally hundreds of e-zines out there. You’ll of course want to submit to the most relevant ones based on their topic so that you can increase your chances of exposure.
There are a variety of article directories as well as e-zines that can help you get your content out there. This is a great way to make a name for yourself in the content producing world. You’ll be surprised to see how many web publishers will contact you directly to have you provide some more work for them in the future. Even though you may not get paid for your e-zine or article directory submissions it can pay off big in the future.
