When it comes down to needing a credit card and you are unable to receive a traditional credit card, you may want to start to check out some of the Free Prepaid Credit Cards. With these credit cards, you are going to be in control of the amount that you are going to be able to spend with the credit card.
You are going to need to be able to place a certain amount on the credit card when you first sign up with on of the free prepaid credit cards. When you place a certain amount on the card that is all that you are going to be able to spend. The credit card company will not give you a line of credit as with all the different traditional credit card companies due.
You are going to check to see if any of the free prepaid credit cards are going to charge you a fee for the use of the card. Some will charge you a monthly fee or even an annual fee for the use of their cards. This could be a disadvantage for some that needs the money that they have placed on the prepaid credit card they have applied for. There are some free prepaid credit card companies out there that are actually free meaning that they do not charge any fees when you are loading your prepaid credit card. You will want to make sure that you are reading the fine print when they tell you that it is a free prepaid credit card.
One good thing about the free prepaid credit cards is that no matter what shape your credit is in you are going to be able to receive a free prepaid credit card. For the most part they do not look at your credit history and they may not even require you to give proof of employment to them. You are going to make sure that you are able to prove to them that you are of legal age.
There are a few of the free prepaid credit cards out there that are going to offer you some small reward for the use of their credit card. With those, you are going to want to read what you are going to be able to redeem your rewards on and where and how you are going to be rewarded. That way there you are going to think that you are going to receive any reward that you want for a specific purchase and find that you can not use your reward that you have earned for that purchase.
