Tips for finding a Zero APR Credit card

When you are looking for a zero APR credit card you are going to want to look at all the different offers that are out there. You may have received a credit card offer that you can't refuse because they are offering you a Zero APR for a certain amount of time. The introductory period could range any where from a couple of months up to a year. They usually offer you the zero APR for all balance transfers and new charges on your account.


One thing that you are going to want to look at when is if you were to transfer your balances to a new credit card that is offering you a zero APR on balance transfer for up to 6 months or a year, are you going to be able to pay the balance off before the introductory period is up? If you think that you may not be able to pay it off all before the introductory period is up you are going to want to see what the credit cards normal APR is so you can compare the two different APR's to see what way would be the best for you to take with your credit cards.


With some of the credit cards that are out you are going to want to check to see that you are not going to be paying more in APR's after the introductory period is up. If the APR is a higher rate than what you are paying now then you are going to want to avoid that credit card and look at some of the other different credit cards that will offer you a zero APR for your credit advantages.


There are many different credit card companies out there that you are going to want to take a little time to check out because some of them will give you a nice large introductory period that you know that you are going to be able to pay all of you transfer balances off before they start to charge you their normal APR. There are going to be even some that will offer you an incentive for transferring your balances to them. The incentives could range anywhere from extra points for you to use in the future or where you are going to be given something like 30 minutes of free phone calls it would all depend on who is offering the credit card to you.
