New area of Software..

By GigMax

Let me tell you some latest softwares..

What is Gigmax.com?
Gigmax.com allows you to store files, such as text documents,
images, and videos, in your own "Gigmax" so you can access
them from anywhere. You may choose to make any of your files
public so others may see it or private so only you can see it.
For example, if you want to store an essay on your Gigmax,
then you would make this private. However, if you want to
create a photo album to show your family and friends, then
you would make this public.

Why would I want my own gigmax?
Most people use their gigmaxes to simply store files for the
sole reason that the files are easily accessible, from anywhere.
However, many people also just create photo albums to store
their photos so they can show their friends and family.

How much does it cost to create my own gigmax?
It's free! Sign up here and get your own gigmax for no cost!

How much storage space do I get?
All gigmaxes come with 30 megabytes(MB) of storage. In most
cases, this is more than enough. To put this in perspective,
30MB is enough room to store 400-500 photos.

What types of files can I store in my gigmax?
You can store any type of file you want except for music files
due to legal issues.

What is the difference between making a file public and making
a file private?
If you choose to make a file public, anyone can see it and
download it. If you make a file private, then nobody can. Also,
please note that all files are by default private and photo
albums are by default public.

What if my question is not answered here?
If your question is not answered here, please contact us.

Why is it taking so long for my files to upload?
If you are uploading larger files (files that are a few MB in
size), then it will take longer to upload. There is nothing that
can be done to prevent the long upload time. Please note though
that the files will upload successfully at some point.

How do I store files on my gigmax?
To store your files, first click the Store Files link that appears
in the menu of the My Gigmax section. When you are on this page,
simply click the Browse button next to each field and select the
files you wish to store. Once you select the files, click "Upload
files" button below the fields.

Why isn't my file showing up on my community page?
In order for a file to appear on your community page, it must be
public. By default, all files are public anyway. However, to
change the status of a file, see the following two questions.

How do I make a file public so I can show my friends?
To make a file public, go to the My Files page of the My Gigmax
section of the site. You will see all of your files on that page.
Select the checkbox next to the file you wish to make public, then
change the drop down box under "Status" to "Public" and click the
"Update" button.

I don't want other people to see my photo album, so how can I make
it private?
All photo albums are by default public, meaning anyone can see it.
However, to make an album private, go to the Edit Album page in
the My Gigmax section and choose the checkbox next to the album
that you would like to make private. Then change the drop down
menu to "Private" and click the "Update" button.

The only way to add more than one photo at once is to select each
photo individually in separate upload fields. You cannot select
(using Control or Shift) more than one photo to add at once.

button under the "Preview" column next to the photo that you would
