Love of Cricket has delved deep into the hearts of many

Playing with the bat and ball started way back that some of us may not even remember it. But what we get to see now is that every home has one or the other cricket fan, either of Sachin or Ponting or Harbhajan or Jayasuriya. Well, the list of cricket idols is endless because you may end up finding every cricketer being an idol of someone. In the earlier times, playing cricket was restricted to just some parts of England. But gradually, it unfurled its wings to other part of the world also. Since this game came into existence, its popularity chart has been constantly on the rise.
With each passing moment of time, it is just cricket that we get to see and listen all over. As far as I think, no other sport has gained so much acclaim as cricket. The reason for this, it has thrill, action and aggressive performances. When you are watching a match, then many of you may cheer out loudly when your favorite player scores a century or when your favorite bowler takes a wicket. It becomes all the more exciting when two teams give each other stiff competition and every fan is sitting with their fingers crossed.
Well, this game has become such a favorite that it is only cricket, cricket and more crickets that we get to see these days. An important thing to be noticed in this field is that many of the cricketing legends have left their mark in this field and have become a source of inspiration for their next generations. Some of the legends that have a special place in the cricket hall of fame are Sir Donald Bradman, Graham Gooch, Vivian Richards, Kapil Dev, Sunil Gavaskar, and Courtney Walsh and so on. There is a long list of legends that seems to be endless because of the performances they gave in their golden time period.
Whenever a cricket tournament is about to start or is there on the cards, then you can see the kind of atmosphere that prevails. Moreover, many others have a question in their mind that will Australia take away the trophy for the third consecutive year or will be beaten by any other nation. So, every one of us has to wait for the action to take place in March.
