Dubai - Famous for Golf

Golf is said to be one of the most popular sports in the whole world, as it has numerous fans, followers, players and professionals. One can state that golf has more fans than most of the other sports all together. And this is maybe because when playing golf, you can set aside all the bad things that can happen across the globe.
People who can afford it even buy second homes on or close to golf courses, or at least they take golfing holidays, in order to get rid of the stress of everyday life and just sit back and relax, free of the pressure at the office.
When it comes to first class golfing facilities, Dubai is of course , once more, among the world wide leaders. In Dubai, golf has turned into something more like a religion, or, better said a way of life. Tourists can choose from a wide range of courses and facilities, all of them aiming to be at the top of their preferences.
The current leader in the matter of golf seems to be Dubai Golf or DG, which provides the best golf courses, holidays, facilities and golf related services in Dubai. They are even involved in running the three best clubs in the emirate.
If you are not a member of the Emirates Golf Club, the Dubai Creek Golf Club or the Nad Al Sheba Club, you are no one in Dubai. Their challenging courses and their lush and verdant surrounding places seem to attract every single important person in Dubai. Not to speak about the striking club houses, extensive leisure and excellent dining possibilities.
The first all grass course in the Gulf Cooperation Council region is the Emirates Golf Club, nicknamed 'the Desert Miracle', due to its charm and luxury. An original concept from His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum back in the 1980's was the one to inspire the very first golf course. The result of this is a home to two complete championship courses called Majlis and Wadi.
The Emirates Golf Club also provides a beautiful club house building to welcome visitors and members alike and many golfing facilities and amenities such as the golf academy. In addition to this, the Emirates Golf Club offers six wining and dining options and superior corporate and conferencing facilities.
The Dubai Creek Golf Club has a yacht club, located on the waters of the river that gives it its name. You cannot ask for anything better than what you can find here. The UK based best selling Golf World magazine even ranked the Dubai Creek Golf Club's course one of the top 100 courses in the world. For the delights of players and their families and guests, the resort offers golfing academies, a hotel and six restaurants as well.
The final resort in Dubai that we will focus on is the Nad Al Sheba Club, that offers busy executives living and working in Dubai the opportunity to relax on the course after work. This is a very interesting resort, which provides plenty of lakes and bunkers. The Nad Al Sheba Club and the Nad Al Sheba Racecourse share the same wining, dining and leisure facilities and great opportunities for numerous events.
Given that Dubai is the world leader in so many fields, so why shouldn't it be the same in the matter of golfing facilities?
