Fight Fat with Phentermine

By Kim Parker

Have you put on an extra kilo or two, which doesn't suits your personality? Do you feel all alone while traveling in an elevator? Do you feel depressed when you see slim and healthy guys? Well don't be depressed; don't feel alone because more than seventy percent of the world's total population is with you and is like you. According to the reports of WHO more than half of world's total population is at least ten pounds overweight than normal weight. Obesity has reached epidemic magnitude in the U S and most of the countries. If one thinks that obesity is a cosmetic consideration then think again as it is a horrible health predicament, which is straightforwardly dangerous to our health. It's a chronic condition defined by an excess amount body fat. This condition of a person is called obesity or over-weighted ness. This condition can be treated by an aid called diet pills. But the stipulation is that doesn't matter whether or not you decide to take assistance from these diet pills which works on the theory of appetite suppressants or other weight loss products, it takes a true dedication to eat healthy, exercise and change your living habits to keep those pounds from grasping you again.

For a long-long time now diet pills have successfully helped millions and millions of obese and overweight people to get rid of this problem. Phentermine is one of those anti obesity pills, which had been serving the mankind for around 50 years now. Only diet pills like phentermine can prevent obesity to the greatest extent throughout these fifty years phentermine has remained the number one choice of dieters all around the world and it accounts seventy percent of total prescriptions. The major reason behind this is it's appreciably cheaper than the other main FDA-approved diet drugs, Meridia and Xenical. Phentermine received its approval by FDA in the last years of 1950s as appetite suppressants, which was to be used in a short-term treatment of obesity. Soon after its approval it was launched throughout the world and phentermine hydrochloride in 1970s. This was the case of around 35 to 40 years back. Now days one can get phentermine through computer. Yes, one can buy phentermine online, and that too cheap phentermine. Now days, it is available in forms of tabs, capsules and resin capsules.

The work of phentermine diet pill is very simple. It stimulates the sensitive nervous system and generates a feeling of satiety (fullness). It works like all other prescription diet pills with the chemical in the brain. This chemical is called neurotransmitter. In fact, it stimulates or moves the neuron bundles to leave a special kind of chemical i.e. neuro transmitters called catecholamines. These neuro transmitters include dopamine, epinephrine (formally known as adrenalin), and nor epinephrine (noradrenalin). These neurotransmitters sends a fight or flight reaction to the body. In turn, hunger signals coming to brain are halted. As a result, hunger ness is gone and appetite is lost because the brain doesn't receive the hunger signals coming from the stomach to it. It is basically because of phentermine's affects on the leptin level of the brain. It has been discovered that taking phentermine can raise the amount of leptin. Leptin is in charge of signaling satiety or fullness.

It is also found in researches that this increment in catecholamines can sometimes be responsible for restricting or halting another chemical messenger of the brain called neuropeptide Y. This chemical is said to be responsible for initiating eating, decreases energy expenditure, and increases fat storage. It is assumed that this act along with as yet undetermined effects on the metabolism is the whole sole in charge for the loss of appetite seen in this category of medicines. It is a right and appropriate medicine for those who have put on weight only because of excessive, unnecessary and unaccounted eating. Researches on various levels have shown an average weight loss of two to eight kilograms more than other medicine for the same duration of treatment. The treatment of phentermine usually starts with your doc asking you some general question regarding your eating habits, past medical history and your efficiency in spending money. Than as per your condition he will prescribe you phentermine.

According to the recommendations given by FDA, it is strictly for short-term use only. Short term is normally interpreted as 'up to 12 weeks'. Along with non-medical ways to lose weight loss such as dieting [healthy eating] and exercises. The main reason behind limiting its use for 12 weeks is that this medicine is a habit-forming drug. The other reason is that phentermine loses its affect as an appetite suppressant as soon as the body adjusts according to the drug. On the contrary, it has researched that phentermine did not lose effectiveness in a 36-week trial. However, the risk of drug addiction may be a significant reason in limiting phentermine for short-term use.

If written about phentermine's side effects, yes it has side effects. Because this pill works through sympathomimetic pathways, it may increase blood pressure and heart rate. It may also cause palpitations, restlessness, insomnia, dizziness, dry mouth and blurred vision. But these are temporary side effects. Additionally, individuals taking this drug on a long-term basis may develop euphoria and a psychological addiction towards this pill. Heart valve damage and pulmonary hypertension, severe enough to cause permanent disability or death have been seen with phentermine alone. It is advisable to keep in mind possible phentermine side effects too before you start using it.

Although obesity is the worst enemy of the mankind today and to be very frank, it is conquering the world slowly but effectively and whats more, it is unseen. But until we have gladiator like phentermine it won't be able to win the war.
