The Mbox 2 is compatible with both Windows XP or Mac OS X systems and uses a USB-powered port to connect to your computer. Its also features a an interchangeable faceplate so you can either the one featuring a handle for portability or the other standard one in which the interface can either sit horizontal or vertical. The Mbox 2 contains many powerful options and stages an impressive sound compared to other products of its kind on the market. It also allows you to connect your midi interface directly to it without any problems - straight in and wow your ready to go. The Mbox 2 is equipped with 2 channels of analogue input - input 1 and input 2. Each of these channels is equipped with a mic XLR input, a DI input for your bass and guitar to connect straight in - no preamp, absolutely nothing between the guitar and the Mbox 2 and a line in for you to connect a keyboard/digital piano or mixer.
