Samsung X820: Thinner – the better

By Samsung X820: Thinner – the better

The endless race is on among the leading mobile manufacturers to bring some of the very best designed and feature packed handsets for a common user. Consequently, mobile phone handsets are getting more and more slimmer and powerful, well supported by excellent functionalities. But, there comes a question that such slim mobile phones would be able to perform well or if they would support various features. Well, when it comes to slimness, then there are two leading competitors, the first one is Motorola and the second is Samsung. Both are coming up with exquisite handsets with breathtaking slim dimensions. To add more fire in the competition, the Samsung introduced its another slim gizmo – the Samsung X820, which is considered as world's thinnest handset with 6.9 mm thickness.

Though, the Samsung X820 is quite slim in its profile, but it has been perfected with the fiber, which is very well merged with plastic to add much needed flexibility. With weight only 63 gm, you would really feel surprised that this little thing can accommodate various exciting features. Available in sophisticated black colour, the Samsung X820 does not give you more choices, when it comes to colours. It comes with a big TFT matrix 262k colour display, which affects the size of the keypad, but on the other hand, it does give a good viewing experience.

Even though, the Samsung X820 is quite slim in profile, but somehow it is endowed with a 2.0 megapixel camera, which is a CMOS digital camera and further supported by white balance and adjustable image compression. You can also add some basic effects to pictures such as fog, moonlight, sepia, as per your interest. The phone is loaded with the 80MB of user memory, which does not seem good enough to store huge stuff. Providing you music, the Samsung X820 comes with an inbuilt media player, which supports tracks in various formats such as MP3, AAC and AAC+.

It does look quite fragile, but the Samsung X820 incredibly, gives access to the world of Internet. Supporting triband, you would always stay connected, no matter where you are. You can transfer all your files via Bluetooth or USB. Simply, the Samsung X820 is a vivid example of digital revolution, where size does not matter, as technology speaks volume.

Though the Samsung X820 looks slender and fragile, it is a powerful Internet and communication tool. This triband phone switches automatically between band so you don't have to bother yourself. Lightning fast Internet connection through GPRS/EDGE and a WAP 2.0 browser keeps you online when you are on or off road. Quick and effortless file transfer and synchronization through Bluetooth and USB is another forte of theSamsung X820.
The Samsung X820 is for someone who is looking for a striking handset without compromising in any feature and functionality.
