Two For One Unbelief Clearance Sale On - Aisle 1?

It is a sad, but true fact that many people do not believe in themselves. This happens for many reasons; however most of these reasons revolve around negativity. Some examples of negativity are negative parenting, negative role modeling, negative peer relationships, and finally negative choices.

Many parents have a negative influence upon their child. Whether it involves drugs, abuse, being a workaholics, etc., none of these influences are justifiable. And without a doubt, these influences are wrong. You may be looking for me to drop in a "but" or "however" to water down these negatives - but I am not going to do that. There is no justification for these negative influences. There is only a choice. That is a personal choice to believe in ones self or not.

Many people never encountered a positive role model. Many of those could not even define what a positive role model is. These people have had the misfortune of being raised up and taught by poor role models. It is not right nor is it fair that an individual did not have all the proper role models to mirror their life or career after. There is no justification here either. Still the personal choice to believe in ones self or not is still present.

What about the peers? What about those we call friend, buddy, or pals? Many of them are negative influences. Many peers sway others to mindlessly or willfully acts of misconduct. Sometimes it's acts of omission. Each of these one of these acts creates undue problems and trouble. Such acts also create personal hardships and despair. Yet the personal choice to believe or not believe in ones self never goes away.

We all have choices. I know that many would say the following to me: you do not know what I have been through...; life was not fair and I never got the chance to be the leader that such and such is; I could be a manager like her, but no one will give me the chance...; people with my background can never be a... or people like me do not have opportunities to... Ok, that's fine, but the question - do you choose to believe in you - is still there. If you do not believe in you, have you not set the limits on how high and how far you will go in life? If you do not choose to believe in you, no matter what anyone else has done or not done, can you really expect to be a success? No you can't.

What's more important - is do you believe in Christ? If not, you have doubled your unbelief. Why? Because not only do you not have in your self, but you have no faith in Christ. Embracing such a double "unbelief" is like going to an unbelief clearance sale where you can get two "un-beliefs" for one. That "one" being you

Christ will not barge into your life, but he wants to be a part of it. Christ believes in you and wants to see you grow. Jesus wants you to develop into the best you that you can be. Who are you to not believe in him or yourself? You have the final say on what it is you believe in and what you do not believe in. No matter what has happened in your life or what is happening now can stop you from believing in Christ and yourself. You can be more than you are now, but only you can choose to be more. So what's it going to be my friend? Will you choose a two for one clearance sale of unbelief? Or will you choose an endless double bonus sale of belief in Jesus and yourself that will yield bonus points all your life? Will you become the awesome leader, manager, professional, etc. – which both you and Christ want you to be? Only you can choose, so choose wisely, and rise above the negative influences and circumstances of your life.
