Terrorism: You can learn to avoid it!

When you hear news about terrorism or terrorist strikes on a subway your heart trembles with fear that becomes greater and greater every time you have to use the subway. At this moment you can't think clearly because these fear for terrorism that cuts off all your ideas of keeping you safe. Remember that being safe from terrorism is a result of intelligence, not emotion. So, you will need to get ride of fear and negative emotion in order to take intelligent choices. The next steps will find out how to reduce the odds for you being affected by terrorism by reducing the time you spend in the subway system.

Step 1: Try thinking how many hours per month you ride the subway. That is the exposure time for you being involved in terrorism business.

Step 2: Think of your daily dependence of the subway. Now try making intelligent time cuts in it reducing the time spend in the train or in the station. This means that the chances of terrorism affecting you are getting smaller. For example you only ride the subway to work or school and back. Try to do all you other daily business using a healthy walk and having a greater chance to avoid terrorism.

Step 3: Write down how many hours per month you will spending in the subway after you did some cuts in the daily dependence on the subway.

The result is fewer hours spent in the subway; less chances for terrorism to be part of your life.

The greatest weapon in the fight with terrorism is the "weapon of choice". We always have a choice, even in the most dangerous situations and whoever controls the choices controls the situation. For example if you don't want to take any risks on the terrorism issue you can choose not to ride with the subway at all.

Just like fighting terrorism is your choice too.
