They combine the classic beauty of the traditional engagement ring with the benefits of the titanium ring. The diamond or other gemstone is most often set in the ring using tension settings. With the tension setting, the precious stone is held in the ring by the metal putting pressure on the stone. Since titanium is so durable and strong, it is a good choice for a ring that features this type of setting. When buying a titanium engagement ring, or any other engagement ring, it is a good idea to insure the ring in case the stone does fall out, or anything else goes wrong.
Aside from the diamond setting, titanium engagement rings can have many different designs. They can have inlays made of other metals like gold or platinum or have designs engraved on the ring. The titanium rings with inlays are usually the most expensive because they contain titanium, a precious stone, and a precious metal.
Titanium engagement rings are gaining in popularity. They are a bargain compared to many platinum or gold engagement rings and are every bit as dazzling to look at.
