Clean the Air While On The Go

By Beverly Marshall

Americans spend a huge amount of time in their cars commuting every day to work. We are all aware of the carcinogens associated with exhaust and fumes; so can you imagine what is happening to your lungs even in your car. Every soccer mom knows how many hours their children spend in the car; riding back and forth to their friends and everywhere in between. More and more people are diagnosed with allergies that make it impossible for them to be around smoke and exhaust fumes. When they find themselves in a close environment such as a car; their allergy symptoms can really become aggravated. Many people still smoke in their cars. You see windows cracked in the middle of winter; and you know there is a smoker in the car. Cracking the window is fine, but the smoke never really does totally escape the car and you and anyone else riding in the car will be subjected to secondhand smoke. If you are one of these people described; it might be wise to look into a car air purifier.

Ionic and air fresheners eliminate pollution from the roadways that come into the vehicle, as well as allergens, odors, and particulates. Air fresheners are nice; but don't get them mixed up with cleaning from air filters and purifiers. Fresheners just mask the odors that are present from the smoke and bacteria. Even essential oils are chemical free natural fragrances that will clear the smell, but they won't remove allergens. Allergy symptoms can be reduced which can be critical while driving. If you smoke in your car an ionic purifier is a must have to eliminate the smoke. Fragrance is an added option if you think the air needs freshening. Different scents are available, or no scent if you are prone to chemical problems. These car purifiers feature adaptors for homes as well which is nice because they will work just as well in the home as they do the car. Some models can cover 50 square feet. Every type of ionic purifier is different, but some of the high quality models feature stainless steel needle points making them more effective. The fan inside circulates air better and disperses the negative ions and the fragrance throughout the vehicle. The stainless steel needles won't corrode and are very durable. You can place these purifiers anywhere in the car and most plug into the cigarette lighter. They don't take up any passenger space since many are mounted to the back of the headrest. They are very attractive, yet inconspicuous. They feature a sleek modern design that will compliment any interior. This is a great way to create a clean air environment when you have a long commute.

Portability is what is so nice about these purifiers. You can use them in a truck cab, boat, RV, office or take it into the hotel or motel room with you. They are very easy to maintain because the filter needs only periodic changes. It just makes common sense to have something like this when you are in your car for hours at a time or if you are planning a trip. We have air purifiers in our homes; take them the next step further and find the style of car air purifier that cleans the air while you're on the go.
