BMW Hydrogen 7: For The Love Of The Environment

By Joe Thompson

A new type of BMW machine has entered the automotive world. This time, despite it still being clad with the usual blend of high technology and really appealing BMW body parts (well, just like my favorite Ford Ranger parts), this new BMW vehicle has been created to help out keep the environment clean and really green.

The clean machine is called the BMW Hydrogen 7 and this new one is known as the very first hydrogen drive luxury performance vehicle there is in the entire world. It has made its mark and its debut in the North American automotive industry during the Los Angeles auto show.

So what are we going to expect from this new BMW Hydrogen 7 vehicle? Well, according to the creator of the machine, the BMW Hydrogen 7 has gone through the usual product development process so as to ensure that this one would hold the same kind of quality that the current production vehicles from the company feature. Now, if you are interested in purchasing one unit of this vehicle, you may do so for BMW also says that the BMW Hydrogen 7 would be build in Europe. However, these would only be sold as a limited series and not really as a production vehicle. Come 2007, the BMW Hydrogen 7 would be zooming through in the United States however they would not be for sale.

What makes the new BMW Hydrogen 7 unique is the fact that this one comes equipped and mounted with an internal combustion engine that has the capacity to run on various fuels – hydrogen or even gasoline. You see, such a design is actually something that has already been used in the current range of vehicles under the BMW 7 series. Along with that, this vehicle's engine has got twelve cylinders and can give the vehicle a boost of 260 units of horsepower. It also allows the BMW Hydrogen 7 to accelerate from a total zero to a whopping 62.1 miles per hour in just a mere 9.5 seconds.

By the way, if you are up for speed the BMW Hydrogen 7 is also going to give you hours of fun for its top speed can even reach a high of 143 miles per hour.
