many home improvement grants come to the surface.
This is evident in the services offered by housing
companies, today. Consult with a housing company
that offers home improvement grants to aid families
for housing renewal.
Many companies that offer home improvement
grants to people, offer different financial abatement
options for adaptations, home improvement and
repairs such as the Disabled Facilities Grants,
renovation Grants, Housing Repair Assistance
grants and Landlord Grants.
You can qualify for the Disabled Facilities grant
if you or someone in your family is disabled. This
is to make it possible for the person to continue to
live in a certain dwelling, to provide better freedom of
movement into and around the home and for free
access to the important facilities within the home.
Also it provides for necessary facilities to make the
home safe for the disabled persons and others that
live with them.
The Home Repair Assistance grant is usually for
small home repairs that, again, will allow the
disabled person to remain in the home. Such repairs
might include electrical rewiring, renovations to the
roof, windows and doors, plumbing and for
drainage work.
Another type of grant is the Renovation Grant.
This is intended for larger projects of home improve-
ment, to make the home a more comfortable and
functional abode. Several things might be included
such as a remedy for instability, serious disrepair,
acute dampness and to give enough heating, lighting
and ventilation, water supplies, cooking and food
preparation equipment and baths and showers.
The Landlord Grant for home improvement is to
help the private landlords to have a safe and
comfortable home and to aid in bringing empty
possessions back into use.
