So you have the ipod now what?

Once you have your ipod you need to take care of it right? And since you spent all that money on it, it would be a shame if it got damaged, perhaps some of the new and cool ipod accessories could help you get more out of your new buddy. What do you think?
I think, no, I know that the new accessories that come out every year to compliment the ipod are fantastic. They range from protective gear to additions that will allow you to play your ipod on the radio and your radio on the ipod to items that will help you to turn your ipod into a mini movie theater. These companies have gotten pretty creative with what they can now do with an ipod, you should definitely check it out.
Probably the first thing you want to get is a protective case for your ipod. No matter what kind of ipod you have you will be able to find a case to fit it. Even if you have one of the older models it should not be a problem at all. The cases vary in price from just a few dollars to a few thousand depending on your budget and your tastes. I have seen snakeskin and alligator skin ipod protectors, I have seen Swarovsky crystal cases and I have seem gummy rubber ones. It is all a matter of personal style.
If you have a car then you may want to look for am adapter that will allow you to play all of the songs on your ipod in the car. This way you will never have to deal with trying to find the cd you are looking for, or trying to get it in while at a stoplight. All of that fiddling and searching is dangerous when you are trying to drive, it is much easier to be able to just plug in your ipod and go and that is what some of the new ipod accessories can do for you.
Many people are even using their ipods as tape recorders these days. There is a little microphone that you can buy that plugs right into the top of the ipod and it will allow you to record voices for hours. This is fantastic for lawyers, students who are interviewing for their thesis and even doctors. There are a ton of reasons why this little add on can make life easier for you and it is all so simple it is silly!
Your ipod can basically do anything these days. It has really come a long way and as time goes on there will only be more and more ipod accessories to purchase. Keep your eye on the market and see what comes out next.
