The better your printer, the better the digital printing will look. Try
to find a printer with a fine ink system and great print quality. Mid-
range inkjet printers are fine for home use. Consider a printer with
a 5 color ink system. A 5 color ink system has 5 individual
replaceable ink tanks so you can change just one color instead of
replacing the whole cartridge.
In addition to the right printer choice, photo paper is very
important. Pick a photo paper with adequate thickness that
generates fine colors and has a high resistance to fading. Thinner
paper can be used if you wish to put the photo in a frame or photo
album.
Try to use different colors for colorful images as digital printing
depends on color contrast. Test photos on different photo papers
in order to find the best photo paper to suit your digital printing
needs.
