Review Toolbar - The Hottest Toolbar on Your Browser!

By David Feinleib

Toolbars come and go, but some are actually quite useful. Almost everyone has the Google Toolbar and the Yahoo Toolbar installed on their web browsers – and these toolbars are used several times throughout the day. But now, there is a new Toolbar in town! The Review Toolbar isn't anything like the Google Toolbar or the Yahoo Toolbar, but it is certainly just as useful!

The Review Toolbar is brand new, and it is definitely the wave of the future. Webmasters will soon be clamoring to get their websites reviewed by users of the toolbar. This is much like 'word of mouth marketing.' If you were going to purchase a car, you would probably ask friends and relatives who own that type of car for a review. If you were going to purchase something like a digital camera, you might use the Internet to read customer reviews. We all make the majority of our purchasing decisions based on reviews – in one way or another. Why shouldn't we be just as careful with the websites that we view?

Review Toolbar makes that possible. Search engines have become incredibly cluttered due to 'pay-per-click' programs. Search terms are really no longer relevant, because anybody can use a pay-per-click search engine to purchase space in the search results of any and all keywords. In some ways, this cheats those of us who are looking for valuable information – we literally have to sift through all of the ads first – and many of the paid listings aren't at all relevant to what we were searching for!

Now, when you use a search engine to search for a particular keyword or phrase, you will see stars! That's right, stars will appear next to each of the results, giving you an indication as to which sites are good, and which sites are bad. Using the toolbar, you can even read what other surfers have had to say about websites.

As a user of the Review Toolbar, you can literally help to build a better web. There is an incredible number of 'junk' websites in Cyberspace. By posting reviews of the websites you visit, you will help others find good websites faster. Once website owner's catch on, they will find that they really need to clean up their acts, and start catering to us – their website visitors – if they want a good review!

Another great feature of Review Toolbar is the 'flag' feature. This allows you to flag sites that you really like, and you can login to your account at www.reviewtoolbar.com to see the list of sites that you have flagged. This works much like a bookmarks or favorites file – only now you don't have to worry about ever losing your bookmarks! They will be kept in your free Review Toolbar account for you.

The Review Toolbar only takes minutes to download, and installing it is a snap. This is not spyware or adware. The websites that you visit are not monitored at all. The toolbar just works with the browser, and it looks to see if there have been any reviews done of the sites that you are searching for, or of the sites you are visiting.

Everything can be accessed right from the toolbar. You can add reviews, read reviews, flag websites, or access your account. Once you access your account, you can see which sites you have flagged, or go over the reviews that you have done of websites.

The Review Toolbar literally lets you take back control. Right now, when you want to find information, you are basically stuck with what the search engines want you to see based on who paid them the most money. But with the Review Toolbar, you can even bypass the search engines if you want to, and just use the reviews that you will find at www.reviewtoolbar.com .

The Review Toolbar will also give you a voice on the Internet. You can tell the whole world what you think of the different websites that you visit. If a website is misleading – say so. If you've been scammed through a particular website, write a review! If you had a wonderful experience, and you feel that others will as well, click the 'new review' button on your toolbar and let everyone know about it. You can even review your own website if you want to!

The Review Toolbar is definitely going to change the way we use the Internet and search engines. As a consumer, you need this to stay informed, and to help inform others. As a website owner, you need to see what other people really think of your website, and how you might make it better. For your free download of Review Toolbar, visit http://www.reviewtoolbar.com .
