Fear not… EduX Services has come out with a few simple steps which will protect your computers against spywares and virus. These steps are so simple that people normally overlook them.

(1) Getting good anti-virus programs in your systems.

It is suicidal not to have any anti-virus software running on your computer systems these days. Any point in time, your system maybe infected with viruses.

It does not matter which types of anti-virus software you may be using. As long as your system is being protected by one, it is fine. However, should you not have any anti-virus software running in your system, AVG Anti-Virus software may be a preferred choice for you.

It is a liable freeware for effective defense, destroying and cleaning of viruses.

(2) Have a good spybot search and destroy software .

Spybot is essential for any systems to have as it helps to scan for spyware, adware, hijackers and other malicious software.

If you have no idea which Spybot software to use, EduX Services can recommend one, known as the Spybot S&D , as this one can really do the job well, and it is FREE!!!

(3) Installing Microsoft Anti-Spyware in your system.

Having a Spybot S&D program running in your system is not the surest way to protect your system. There maybe some spywares that Spybot S&D program can detect and destroy but not Microsoft Anti-Spyware and vice versa. Therefore, these two programs should be installed in your computer system as they compliment each other to have a full-proof defense against spywares.

(4) Always update the definitions of your spybot search & destroy anti-spywares and Anti-virus softwares.

Last but not least, even if you have the best softwares in place to protect your system and not update their definitions is useless still. In order for your softwares to be combatant against powerful viruses and spywares, you must keep all your programs updated with the latest definitions.

To save you the hassle of having to update all your programs manually every now and then, it is advisable to use the automatic updates features in your software applications so that your programs will automatically download and update the new definitions whenever they are available.

To conclude, the above mentioned steps are the essential steps which are useful for anyone to safeguard their computers and systems against digital pests. Should your computer systems been infected by viruses and spywares and you are feeling helpless, it is advisable to reformat your hard disk or get professional help. Once the viruses and spywares have been destroyed, always adopt the recommended steps mentioned above to protect your computers.
