Dirt Bike Graphics

By Andrew Green

What are dirt bike graphics?

Many people choose to build or restore older dirt bikes, and by doing this buying your dirt bike can turn into a project or hobby as much as riding the bike itself. By using dirt bike graphics as well, you have the choice of making it look like it's factory built or completely customized by you. There are standard looking graphics and there are entirely unique customs; the choices are only limited by your budget and your imagination.

What types of dirt bike graphics are available?

Basically a graphic is a graphic design placed onto a piece of sticky plastic, like transfers. This means that you can get graphics for just about any part of your bike, or anything else you may want to stick them to. You can get backgrounds that go over the tank and the body of your bike. You can get dirt bike graphics that will stick onto your fork guards, front fender, cover your seat and for your rear fender. Basically, where there's room on your bike you can stick a graphic and make it look totally customized.

How much do dirt bike graphics cost?

The only thing that will determine the answer to this question is how big your budget is and how far you want to go. Backgrounds are commonly available for as little as $5 - $10 for factory looking graphics. Obviously the more unique the look you are after, the more expensive the price is going to get. Make your mind up about how customized you want the appearance of your bike and then a maximum budget. The final step is to shop around as much as possible to get the best bargain you can for your money. You don't have to pay a fortune to get an incredible looking bike.

Are dirt bike graphics easy to fit?

Put simply, yes, they are easy to fit. They're just like kid's stickers; you peel them off and stick them where you want on the bike for a cool and customized feel. No more bland black bike, now you can have any design you want anywhere on your bike. Some companies will provide the graphics as uncut, what this means is you can cut it to the size you need. After all, not everybody has the same size petrol tank and not everyone wants a graphic to cover it all.

Whatever you want and whatever your budget you will be able to find something that suits your needs and your pocket. Shop around and you'll find the design to match you, your bike and your budget. Dirt bike graphics are fun, easy to fit, inexpensive and instantly add that little something extra to your dirt bike.
