Junk Email--What is it Good For
All of us get junk emails in our email boxes everyday. These are usually
ads for another business opportunity. Sometimes it is for porn or other
types of spam. The emails that you can use are the ones from other
marketers concerning their business.
When you get these junk mails, you can find some use for them. It is
called Reverse Marketing.
Reverse Marketing is when you contact a marketer that has sent you an ad and
try to get them to look at your business. Now, this is an excellent way to
get to know people and sponsor them into your business, IF HANDLED
CORRECTLY. The first rule is never, ever send them your link or try to
sell them on anything during the first contact. All you should try and do
is get them into a dialogue. Ask a couple of simple questions about their
business, but DO NOT imply you are going to join, but that you just want
some more info. Just a couple of simple questions are all that is needed.
You won't get responses from all of them, but the serious marketers will
respond. They will feel that they can sponsor you. When they respond with
the answers, thank them and ask for more info. At this point you may try
for some more personal info. How long have you been a marketer? What part
of the world do you live in? etc., etc, etc. After a few dialogues, then
you can start to drop some hints about your business. Try and get them to
ASK YOU for the link to your business. If they do this, you have won half
of the battle. The chances that you will sponsor them are much greater.
I suggest keeping a notebook or a file on your computer about the people
you are communicating with. Write down notes after every email exchange
about what was said. This will help you stay on track after you start to
get prospects in different levels of communication.
In want to issue a challenge to everyone. Make a committment to follow
through with this and you will see success. Contact 5 people a day using
this technique. Only 5. Try and get to know these people and eventually,
you will have a lot of people asking about your business. 5 a day is 150
in a month. Don't you think you can sponsor people if you are making 150
new contacts every month? I know you can. Make this committment and you
will pleased with the results.
