Land Rover LR2 Takes On 2008

By Joe Thompson

Whatever the terrain, whatever the road condition, whatever the time of year. It is quite an assurance that any Land Rover vehicle will deliver and it will deliver with excellence. And for 2008, the Land Rover brand would be sending out yet another updated and spruced up vehicle to grace and graze the roads that lead to other worlds.

One of the most updated Land Rover vehicles that would be making its way in 2008 is the Land Rover LR2. A quick background on the Land Rover LR2 would reveal that this vehicle is actually that very model which took the spot that used to belong to the Land Rover Freelander. And as a replacement, the Land Rover LR2 has been built to last with its sturdy Land Rover body parts and its really exceptional engine. After all, the Land Rover LR2 would surely not be able to rush through streams and rivers and rocky roads if it was not built to last and survive.

"There's been very little that's been styled, nothing that wasn't done for functionality," shares Earl Beckles. Beckles is the very person, the chief designer in fact, of the Land Rover LR2. And he has been able to say such when talking about the kind of luxurious exterior the Land Rover LR2 has despite the vehicle being an off road vehicle.

But everything simply does not end with the exterior of the vehicle. Take a few more steps and take time to experience what the interior and the cabin of the Land Rover LR2 could give you. Experts in the field say that the 2008 Land Rover LR2 has got a really ergonomic interior and has its parts and pieces all appointed to the right places. There is also the Terrain Response system which comes with the vehicle itself. This system actually does give the driver of the Land Rover LR2 the much needed information on terrain tracking, road conditions, traffic awareness, and information one needs to actually venture and journey through off roads.

The 2008 Land Rover LR2 may be bulky and huge but it does perform and respond quite nicely. Turning and steering through corners has never been a problem with this one.
