By Joe Thompson

Many young citizens around the country are logged in at Whyville. They can do things like what the grown ups and their parents do in real life. These young ones can now even have virtual car loans so they can drive around the virtual world of Whyville in a cool and eye-catching car. And Scion, one of Toyota Motor Corporation's brands, is the major sponsor behind this.

Whyville is an internet site which has been created to be educational. It was even created to target teenagers and the preteens with the purpose of teaching these youngsters various topics that could range from science to business. It is not the usual classroom like environment. Those logged in at Whyville can go around like it was their own community and environment. And through games and role playing, these users get to know and learn the real deal in the real life.

Clams are the currency in the virtual world of Whyville. And now Scion, which is an entry level brand, is offering and selling Scion vehicles. This started back last May. There are now over 1200 Scions which has already been purchased in Whyville. But since these Scion vehicles have yet to experience breakdowns and vehicle trouble, there are no Toyota performance parts or Scion parts yet to be sold. And if you are a virtual citizen of Whyville, you will know that each Scion vehicle is sold at 15,000 clams.

Now, if you are interested in purchasing your own Scion vehicle over Whyville yet you do not have enough clams for one, you can get a virtual loan through the site's Club Scion and Toyota Financial Services, or TFS. And with such financing, anybody in Whyville would get to live the virtual life of loaning clams to finance a new Scion car.

Not all users of Whyville do know how to go through the whole process of obtaining a loan since they are mostly youngsters. And to deal with this, the site offers a virtual TFS advisor would is willing enough to assist and walk the interested parties through acquiring a loan of clams. There are even helpful tips for the users and as they go along, they learn about credit which would be very helpful in the real world.
