If you want to have a healthy body it is vital to watch what you put into it, making an effort to only eat healthy foods. As a general rule of thumb (which can't be applied to everything), eating natural foods are healthy, and processed man made foods such as common junk foods are unhealthy. Eat vegetables, fruit, oats and lots of fibre as these foods are packed with vitamins and minerals which are vital for a healthy body. It is said by biologists that a body will rejuvenate itself every 6-8 months due to cell mitosis. It's your choice. In 6-8 months you can either be made of cheeseburgers or vegetables: what sounds healthier?

Health Tip 2: Drink lots of Water and Get Sufficient Sleep

Approximately 70% of your body is made up of that clear liquid most of us take for granted. The body can only survive for two to three days without water, therefore it's vital to keep hydrated. On August 3rd 2005, a Korean computer gamer died from exhaustion and dehydration after spending 50 hours playing Starcraft with little to no breaks, highlighting the importance of good quality rest and hydration. Drink 8 large glasses of water per day and get approximately 8 hours of sleep per night.

For those who don't know what a steam shower is, it's an enclosed cabin, made of acrylic or glass that functions as a normal shower. A steam shower also has functions of a steam room and in most cases it has hydro massage jets. A steam shower can be installed in place of any shower system as all it needs is a power source, hot/cold water feeds and a waste water pipe: everything a normal residential shower will have. Therefore it is easy to replace your normal shower with a steam shower.

Whilst eating, drinking and healthy sleeping habits are important, no matter how hard you try, the body will still accumulate toxins. It's important to rid the body of these toxins, which can cause all kinds of ailments such as cancer. That's where the steam shower comes in. The steam in the steam shower opens up the pores and stimulates the circulatory system. When the body starts to sweat, toxins are excreted in the sweat which reduces the bodies' toxic burden, lightening the load on the bodies' immune system. Having a steam shower in your own home is a fantastic way to relax and reduce the toxic build up in your body. Take a steam shower every couple of days and you will look healthier and feel healthier. It is possible to use a steam shower in health clubs, however, the most cost effective and effective way is to invest in a steam shower for your own home. The convenience, health benefits and value a steam shower adds to your house makes it a worth while investment for anybody.

A wonderful way to get a fantastic nights sleep is to put a couple of drops of aromatherapy oils in the steam shower, wait for it to steam up and then relax in the steamy aroma. Use a blend of lavender and rosewood in your steam shower just before you go to bed and you will sleep like a log.
