Two of the seven or so miles of beachfront that Hollywood has been blessed with consist of a wide, friendly and vibrant boardwalk. Only foot traffic is allowed along this pathway, and you're sure to see joggers, walkers, amblers and strollers galore. Soak up a quintessential boardwalk experience by buying an ice cream cone, catching a beach volleyball game, and watching the array of happy people go by. The Anne Kolb Nature Center is just nearby, and will give normally landlocked tourists the chance to experience all the charms of the Intracoastal Waterways. Consistent with Florida's image as a recreation paradise, there are plenty of golf courses and tennis courts to visit.
