Digestion


Digestion is a complicated physical and chemical process. It can be compared to a huge laboratory, where any malfunction can bring the whole process to a standstill. Digestion starts in your mouth. The food is broken up and chewed with the teeth while simultaneously being mixed with saliva from the salivary glands. Proper chewing is extremely important for your good digestion.
