EXPANISH: The New Way to Learn a Language 
 
Gone are the days of classrooms, grammar exercises and text books, these days the newest way to learn a language is to experience it – literally. Imagine learning indoor rock climbing from your language teacher, dancing or juggling in another language. 
 
Buenos Aires-based Expanish is at the forefront of this new wave. Yesterday the Tourism Secretariat of Argentina announced that there has been a 20% increase in international tourists so far this year.

The sub secretariat, Daniel Aguilera, explained "This increase in tourists shows that tourism continues to be one of the most dynamic sectors of the Argentine economy. There are few places in the world that can offer the same variety of cultural and tourist attractions as Argentina."

The Association of Language Travel Organisations (ALTO) has also released figures which show that 61% of the tourists who come to Buenos Aires to study Spanish are between the ages of 19 and 30. This has created a need for new and dynamic language courses. Which is why the Expanish courses have been created by, and are managed by young people who have experienced the challenge of learning a language in a foreign country.

Vignale explains, "Everything we do is deeply rooted in personal experience. Nearly everyone in our team has gone through the experience of either studying abroad or immersing themselves in other cultures and so, our Spanish programs, workshops and services are based on how we ourselves would like to study and experience a language".
