By James Kronefield

The world we live in today can be very stressful and demanding. There is a lot of pressure to meet deadlines and accomplish many tasks at once. To make the experience of everyday life even more complicated many people suffer from anxiety attacks. These can make a person feel like the world is coming to an end right before their eyes. It is a fear that cannot be controlled and it can literally paralyze a person. Some people have experienced one or two of these attacks during their lifetime while others experience them daily. To decide if you need help with preventing or controlling anxiety attacks you should know what symptoms to look for. So what are Panic and Anxiety Attack symptoms?

There are several symptoms that occur when a person is having an attack. Of course, the uncontrollable fear is the most noticeable. Many people sweat, tremble and become dizzy. Others feel numb and have problems breathing. They may begin to have heart palpitations and server chest pain. This pain makes people think they are having a heart attack and the fear becomes worse, which increases the symptoms. It is possible to have different symptoms each time you have an anxiety attack. If you have had this experience but it has not occurred again, then most likely it was a one time thing. However, if you have had Panic and Anxiety Attack symptoms more than twice a month, then you should talk with your doctor.

Other milder symptoms also include feeling sick to your stomach and dreading the thought of having to leave your home. You may be afraid that you will do something embarrassing and people will laugh at you. Some people just always feel like something bad is about to happen, this feeling never really goes away. Other people are simply afraid that they will have another attack and worry all the time about having one. These anxiety attacks do come on very quickly and do not provide any warning in advance, so many people don't want to ever leave their homes because of it. Each person will also experience different Panic and Anxiety Attack symptoms at different levels.

The cause of anxiety attacks is not really know, but for many people just the though of having an attack can bring one on. Medications, alcohol and illegal drugs can induce an anxiety attack. It can take a person that is really outgoing and make them turn into a person that is anti-social. The fear of having an attack can cause a person to become withdrawn and seclude themselves inside the safety of their home. Many people find it hard to hold down a job and impossible to begin a career. Receiving help for these Panic and Anxiety Attack symptoms can change all that. It can help you to regain your life and make up for all you have been missing.
