Motorola V3i: V3 with a difference.

By Ben Bradle

Design has become an important criteria while buying a handset. A mobile user todays wants a handset which is not only feature rich but one which also looks great. Motorola too has realized this and is coming with handsets which are sleek, stylish and are studded with latest features. The latest mobile phone Motorola V3i is the updated version of RAZR V3. The manufacturer has simply tried to cash-on the popular design of V3.

The appearance of Motorola V3i has been kept similar to its predecessor but there have been changes inside to make it perform well. There is the same 14mm case, chemically-etched keypads, cool black lighting, 262 colour TFT screen and so on except the colours which have been changed. For an onlooker it might be difficult to find the difference between RAZR V3 and Motorola V3i until he flip opens the handset.

Go inside and you will find a low resolution camera being replaced with a 1.23-megapixel camera with a full-screen view finder, zoom, video record and playback. Good news for music lovers! A music player has been enabled in the mobile phone which can store up to 150 tracks with a swappable memory card. The handset do comes with iTunes music management software but people in UK might have to wait sometime before it is available here.

The off-line mode allows you to listen music or do other things(except making or receiving calls) even in flights. With SCREEN3 technology get zero-click access to news, sports and entertainment. The Motorola V3i also offers MP3 ringtones, Java games, Bluetooth wireless connectivity and quad-band capability for global roaming.

All in a handset which is high on design and has features to help you do more than mere converse.
