Motorola L7: Classic design and multitude of excellent features

By Grace Lewis

After the RAZR and the PEBL, Motorola launched another candy-bar designed handset in the market. The phone has a metallic touch with metallic keypad and toughened glass - with attractive design and yet its metallic appearance catches users attention. As far as phone design is concerned, there has not been done any significant changes in the design as the phone looks very similar to RAZR, but the Motorola L7 has more features.

With a high quality matrix display (262k colours resolution) - it provides a good platform to view images, video clips and other menus. Though its a camera phone but the the resolution is very less. Its a VGA camera and users cannot expect much clarity as compared to other high resolution camera phones. For video recording, VGA camera is quite good, users can also share pictures, video clips and music tracks via MMS and Bluetooth wireless connectivity.

The handset comes with a built-in MP3 player that supports both MP3 and AAC music formats. The SLVR comes with embedded ringtones of good quality; other features include handsfree speaker, email and quad-band. With 11 MB of internal memory, the phone also comes with TransFlash Memory card which further expands phone memory up to 512 MB. Users can download music tracks, video clips and images for more fun.

The Motorola L7 provides good connectivity with quad-band network. Sharing data from other devices are also easy with Bluetooth, USB and infra-red connectivity. Share documents like music tracks, images and video clips on the move via Bluetooth wireless connectivity. There were lots of complains about Motorola's battery and that's why Motorola has taken good care of battery quality in their latest handsets.

This mid range handset is good in terms of its user-friendly features and applications. Choosing a handset like the Motorola L7 is a good decision as far as the design and basic features are concerned.
