What are the printing processes involved in Postcard Production

The postcards had been proven to stand the test of time in terms of advertising and promotion. It had been significantly used as a material ideal for advertisements, business reply, coupon cards, invitations and greeting cards. Using them for promotions had greatly aided in gaining higher response rates.

We are all aware what postcards can bring to business. It can establish a good name and make business recognized in the market. Since they speak for your business and serve as a frontline image of your company, they must possess professional quality.

The production involved for postcard production is no longer a problem because with the technological advancement made. More companies had provided fastest printing services in order to meet the demands in the market.

With the advancement in the printing technology we can never deny the fact that we are not highly benefited. We are benefited in a way that we can efficiently meet to achieve the deadlines given to us and always come up with a postcard print as soon as we need them.

Taking part with the postcard printing, the process is easy if you have an idea on what to use. You can either go for digital printing and offset printing.

Now what are the differences if you go for these printing processes?

Digital printing had essentially answered to provide fast printing process for short turn around printing time. The postcards printed on it uses stocks ideal for inkjet computers. The common stock used for the printing jobs uses a 12pt gloss stock. Pertaining to the turnaround time this process can work your material 1 to 2 days upon receipt of proof. The capacity of digital printers can work to print up to 1000 copies only.

Offset printing is the very common printing process that printers are using at present. This is very much applicable for those that are in need of higher number of postcard prints. It can print from copies ranging from 1000 up to 25000 copies. The paper stocks used are 14pt gloss for a more durable and long lasting printing.

No matter what their difference is, the process that you use still underlies on the kind of quantity you want to have. They may work on different processes but all of them aim to meet one goal – to meet clients requirement through the kind of print produced.

The printing processes for postcard printing are not the only factor that underlies in the production. Graphic designers and professional printing staffs' works hand in hand for the development and success of the material.
