Ashes – The Time Has Arrived: The Time To Exterminate

By Samuel Hary

When dawn breaks on 23rd November, it would signal to the world the resumption of the Ashes. And Australia would hope that the sun that rises has no connection whatsoever with the sun that rose on 21st July 2005. It is sad though we have to be the catalyst for shattering someone's hope. The sun of 23rd November 2006 would have the same fortune as the sun of 12th September 2005. It would start the journey for England, a journey which would culminate when we win/retain the ashes.

When Freddie along with his boys fight it out, they know England would be with them like never before. Every wicket taken, every 50 scored, every stunner taken would be appreciated and applauded. The passion for winning would be appreciated more than the charm of participation. And does this not remind us of 2005.

Dear Team

You have our wishes and prayers. Do your best with the knowledge that we are right behind you, urging you to perform and hoping for an Australian carnage. And its not that we would love you less if you lose the ashes; it's not the end of the world. We would like to reemphasize though – We want the Ashes and you have to get it for us. Go now, without any fear and trepidation and conquer our hearts if not the world.

England

The countdown has begun. The hearts are beating and the minds are working. Let's get ready for the biggest battle that time has seen and remember each one of us is a soldier destined to kill.

In case you would like to buy some Ashes memorabilia, i have some great shops lined up for you.
