Redesigned Vehicle Gets Recognized

By Pamela Hewitt

Information on vehicles (like Ford, Mazda, Jaguar, Volvo, Porsche, Cadillac, and the whole lot) and vehicle parts (like Lincoln LS parts, Ford bumpers, Ventshade vent visors, and the rest) are easily found through information and data providers like Kelley Blue Book. Thanks to them, consumers can easily find what they want or they can easily decide which of the vehicles or vehicle parts would they need.

This provider of information on vehicles has come up once again with a new list that would certainly help out people in the market for a new vehicle. This list is known as one of the best in the industry and would certainly be a big help for people. On the top of this list is the Chevrolet Silverado which Kelley Blue Book has dubbed as the 2007 Best Redesigned Vehicle.

So how did the team behind Kelley Blue Book choose this vehicle? Well, according to these guys, they have found the Chevrolet Silverado to be a unique vehicle after going through a redesign. In fact, this new one now holds a great combination of improvements that would certainly be of great use to owners and passengers alike. Plus, they did find the new powertrain, chassis, handling, ride, and interior changes to be one of the very best.

To back this up, Jack R. Nerad says, "The 2007 Silverado solidified its case for Best Redesigned Vehicle with its notably improved steering, braking, ride comfort, handling and power delivery. Combined with the segment's highest available towing capacity and horsepower as well as its best available fuel economy, thanks to its Active Fuel Management, Chevy's newest pickup is poised to make a significant impact in this era of tougher yet more luxurious trucks." Nerad is the current editorial director as well as the current executive market analyst for KBB.

He does further continue, "The market was filled with terrific redesigned vehicles this year. Each vehicle on this list of finalists represents a huge step forward versus its predecessor. The 2007 field also featured several closely related vehicles like the Silverado and GMC Sierra and the Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon. In the case of the Silverado versus the Sierra, the Silverado's better historical sales performance was the key differentiator."
