With a comfortable lodging situation as the foundation, the mood of the trip will be positively buoyant. Having a jetted tub, fireplace, music and DVD library, even a nearby swimming pool and some tennis courts all mean that boredom will be kept at bay. You're removed from the hubbub you've grown used to, but that doesn't mean you're totally cut off either.
