Finding Suitable Partners For Your Website
By Tom Takihi
One thing I learned early on in life is that the spirit of cooperation always results in success and that the strength of a group is unyielding versus that of a frail individual. One Chinese legend has it that a dying king was dismayed on how his sons were fighting among themselves for a piece of the kingdom that was, at that time, under attack by barbarians. The wise king called all of his sons and at his deathbed, imparted wisdom that would save the kingdom. He asked one son to get an arrow and try to break it. Sure enough the son did not have trouble breaking it in two. The king asked the same son to do it again, but this time, the number of arrows was increased ten folds. With all of his might, the son tried to break the arrows but was unable to. This is a simple story that is still very much applicable today.
Associations or groups that pretty much represent the spirit of support in the internet today have a formula or design that embodies assistance and collaboration. They are called partner programs and they aim to help new and existing websites. These free programs are all about supporting websites reach their full potential by aiding site managers with relevant data concerning their statistics and possible solutions.
The spirit of cooperation is very much alive in these groups as they strengthen website standings in the internet and at the same time garner affiliates whom they help out. It's a symbiotic relationship with the intention of facilitating the overall condition of the net. The free partner programs that are available to the online citizens are relevant for any serious and discerning site author. This is basically what partnerships are all about, the attainment of difficult but essential goals. The word "impossible" immediately loses its sting when you have associates and allies by your side.
In its simplest level, the internet is one big ecosystem of information exchanges. Websites are battling for attention from prospective clients or repeat visitors. This is the norm but it does not mean that competing sites need to be rivals all the time. It is possible to pool their resources together without compromising their trade secrets. This method is already being done by the free partner programs.
A serious webmaster should have all the current and relevant statistics about his website when he needs it, where he needs it. Anything less would be a disservice to that site and would somehow spell disaster for him. He must leave nothing to chance because the moment he uses guesswork to maintain and track his site's development, he runs the risk of inaccuracy and compromising the data integrity of the site. The tools and instruments available for in the partner programs are vital for any webmaster. What's more appealing is that, using them won't cost anything. You just have to have the time to place some text link onto your site. How hard could that be? About the Author Tom Takihi is the owner of Imand Partners.
