LCD For Vehicles Developed By Sharp

By Jenny McLane

One of the consumer electronics' giants has come up with a new innovation that would greatly help the automobile industry. This is according to a report given out by JCN Newswire. And who is this giant? It is Sharp Corporation. And what the company has created is an LCD that can be used for vehicle applications.

Because this type of product has been made for use inside vehicles, this LCD has been made to be quite durable just like every other type of Triumph, Volkswagen, or any other auto parts. After all, manufacturers like the Sharp Corporation has created the product to be resistant against vibrations that one can experience once a vehicle is running. It has also been created so as to be able to stand through despite having to be exposed to various types of temperatures – from the high summer heat to the deep winter cold.

What are the common uses of LCDs? Well, you can try going through the Internet and you would be able to learn that such products are used for navigation systems in cars. They could also be used for entertainment systems which you can usually find at the rear part of any vehicle.

What this Sharp LCD has got to offer is the chance for people to enjoy navigation or entertainment because this one has been created to have a larger screen size and area. Plus, the product has also a much higher resolution compared to all the other LCD products in the market. The company does even further say that they are planning on still improving on this latest creation of theirs. They do say that they are looking into using LCD products as one major part of instrument panels so much so that drivers could be able to easily discern important information needed when they are driving on the road.

This new LCD product from Sharp's specifications are quite remarkable. First off, it has an eight inch of screen size and has a pixel count of 800 x RGB x 480. It has also an outstanding contrast of 1500:1. You can also have a great view of whatever is on the screen despite being at an angle. You see, the company has created the LCD so much so that you would have a 176° vertical and horizontal view.
