10 Steps to Alphatude

By Ami Moore the Dog Whisperer of Chicago

ALPHA-TUDE
Alpha-tude is about energy and intention. It is when the lion lays down with the lamb, a biblical saying that really means that the conflicting areas within you must come to a truce and work together.

Alpha-tude is all about how your dog perceives you, and your intentional or unintentional effect upon him, his behavior and his attitude. Alpha-tude energy is strong, hot, dry, forward moving, commanding, authoritative, guiding, balanced, harmonious, kind, mothers-not-smothers, happy, instinctive, just, firm, fair, calm, bright, salty, non-verbal, physical, concrete, consistent, constant, compassionate, male but not macho, proactive, just-enough, just-in-time, practical, realistic, active, yang-style steady energy is considered Alpha-Tude energy.

Famous people who project Alpha-tude™ are: Steve McQueen, Yule Brenner, Han Solo, Brad Pitt, Batman and Robin, Jack Sparrow the Pirate or Paul Newman as Cool Hand Luke. Remember Margaret Thatcher, Queen Elizabeth, Cleopatra, Sophia Loren, Laura Bush, Oprah Winfrey, Golda Meir, Ann Richards the Governor of Texas, or Mother Teresa. Dogs need Leaders with calm, confident energy and intentions.

When the human provides Alpha-tude, the ideal condition for the dog, and allows the dog to experience emotional surrender, mental subordination, and physical submission to a leader, the dog is in natural balance.

Without this good and natural mental submission and emotional surrender to the human will, the dog is as a wild beast: unreliable, untrustworthy, and unpredictable. The way that the Earth was set-up eons ago, for each and every action, there is an opposite reaction; this applies to physics, to human relationships as well as dog training. So, what is the opposite of Alpha-tude? Well, the opposite of Alpha-tude" is Loser-tude".

THE 10 STEPS FOR ALPHATUDE

1. The Proper Breath
The person with ALPHATUDE breathes deeply from the stomach. Each breath expands and contracts the lungs fully, sending oxygen throughout the cells of the body. Every cell in your body has memory, intelligence and emotion. Oxygen helps spread the Universal Force so that it spreads evenly through your body, your mind and your spirit. You will find that if you are invigorating your cellular batteries you will begin to feel warms and bubbly all over and there are some people who will feel either light headed or just a little queasy, at their first trial. If this happens, stop and rest. This is normal. With more practice, your body will learn how to adjust to the increase in energy.

2. The Proper Posture
Alphas stand proud and tall, they radiate energy, vitality and power. Plant your feet and clench your bum to make the best contact with Mother Earth, to draw on her power. The feeling of power should come up through your feet, streak up your spine and flow out of your arms and hands. If you have the right connection, if you are in harmony, your hands will even begin to feel unusually warm. This energy flow is what your dog will sense. If you have ALPHATUDE, you must move as if you possess the very Earth itself.

3. The Gaze
When you have ALPHATUDE, your gaze is open, inviting and yet commanding, the gaze of a lion. Mesmerizing.

4. The Silence
Those among us who embody ALPHATUDE, the energy of leadership, use silence to their advantage. Silence is the engine of true communication, used wisely it flushes out the untrue, the false, the sick and the weak elements of the dog's personality, as well as your own.

5. The Touch and Tone
Those who are powered by ALPHATUDE understand that true intimacy and true domination begins and ends with touch. Touch and Tone can calm, arouse, engage, enrage and enchant.

Touching a dog in a dominant and alpha manner (deep, hard, penetrating finger pressure) especially on and within the Area of Dominance, will help the dog become psychologically realigned with the owner's new energy pattern.

The proper Tone when communicating with a dog is extremely important. There are several tones that the dog responds to on a genetic level:

Happy Tone: A sharp, "staccato" type of tone or a series of tones of high pitch that rise and fall but that are within a note or two of each other. This tone gives praise and creates excitement, increases prey drive, increases Will to Power, and often aggressive behavior. "Good Girl" "Get-it, Get-it, Get-it".

Warning Tone (this excites the Will To Please): A breathy, hiss sound that triggers the most primitive parts of the dog brain, and forces the dog, almost beyond his control to stop a behavior and redirect to the Alpha. The reaction to this sound is implanted in the dog's brain by Nature, all mammals abhor snaky, hissy, repetitive sounds; they mean danger and death.

War Tone (This excites the Will to Power or Survival Instinct): This tone is very brief, very low, very sharp, very guttural, very repetitive, this is used as a punisher, to force a dog to stop an activity abruptly, and can make a dog respond aggressively. An example of this is the use of the words, "No" or "Leave-It".

Communication Tone: This tone has an hypnotic effect upon a dog, it lowers blood pressure, slows the heart beat, reduces emotional stress, increases bonding, increases ability to learn new things, and places the dog in a receptive, submissive, subordinate frame of mind. This tone is undulating, low in pitch, relatively monotone (but it can rise and fall, decrease or increase in speed), soft, repetitive and comforting; much like a cooing , or humming sound that a mother may make to a child. For example the "Whoa" that one whispers to an uneasy horse is in the tone of peace, or as another example, the "mmmmm" used in Adam's Code

6. The Force
There is a universal unifying force, it can't be seen, weighed or measured and yet it unites everything in the universe together. Only when you are in harmony with your truest nature can the force be harnessed to manipulate the Here and Now of your dog. With a bit of practice, you can call and connect to the force in a heartbeat; it will flow through you like a river.

7. The Mood
The most important aspect of having ALPHATUDE, is the ability to change the mood of others with great speed and effectiveness. Alpha's have the ability to power-up, tap into the Force, and change the mood of one person or a multitude. The greatest of Earths' leaders have had this unique skill. This is the supreme Alpha skill, changing the mood of the collective, by whim and at will. There are three organs in every person that can recieve, assimilate, digest, refine or project "moods", these organs are the brain, the heart and the gut.

The gut is more like a giant reciever, it scans the environment for "that which is different" from the normal rythm of a place. This is the organ is easiest to derail and also the hardest to fool. This is the organ that is resonating with the vibrations of the planet. The gut can pick up information hundreds of miles away, and through time/space continum. For instance, African Elephants and their gut information abilities have recently been studied, and it was found that the gut works on sounds that are far below the human range, sub-sonic. This is why the finest of musical instruments are made from cat gut, it picks up and also projects sound with such ease.

The heart is like a internal lighthouse. This is the center of emotion power, this is where the blood picks up its information. The heart is so important that it works totally indepedently of the brain. The heart projects your aura or lifeforce outward at a range of 6-8 feet, this is called the Social Zone. This is where all healing energy originates from. This is where all mental decisions should be filtered through to remove impurities that taint true actions. The ancients were right, the heart is the throne of the body.

The brain is like a library or a computer, it can store great amounts of information, but is unable connect them or use this information without the heart or gut. This is why there are so many people that are "book smart" but lack an ability to suceed in life or in love. To have success on the planet you need the brain to work with the gut and the heart, the Holy Triad.
.

8. The Projection
Another key component of ALPHATUDE is that the energy can be projected onto and into others, and when this is done the energy patterns, the mental patterns of the receiver can be changed, sometimes permanently. There are three places where this can come from; your brain, your heart and your gut. The more of these regions that you can turn on and power up, the more powerful your ALPHATUDE.

9. The Hell Spell
When a person has ALPHATUDE and uses this energy to rehabilitate the dog, there will be resistance from many fronts, this is called a Hell Spell. When a dog owner discovers his ALPHATUDE and begins to project his new found energy, the dog will begin to rebel in an attempt to hold on to the old social order. This anger, this resistance, is a normal part of change, and once the Hell Spell is ridden out, peace will prevail.

10. Beyond ALPHATUDE
Eventually, the energy of Alphatude does not have to be searched for or called out to arrive, it is with you always and everywhere. Many find that by embracing the energy of ALPHATUDE, that they create changes in all aspects of their life; home, work and play. This is when you are a balanced being of energy, a guru, a mother, a father, a teacher, a wizard, a healer, or a dog whisperer.
