All New Autos For African Market

By Shane Morgay

From America to Europe, China, India, auto giants are making remarkable invasion. Now, another potent target for vast invasion is Africa. Said display of the latest lineup of vehicles from auto giants is scheduled on October 28 to November 5 at the Auto Africa Expo in Nasrec Expo Centre, Johannesburg.

The automotive market is growing more dynamic each day. Reports of its vastness and influence are bombarding the mass media everyday. Models launch, manufacturing strategies, sales figures, and healthy competition of vehicle makes are just few of the headliners of today. The territory of vehicle manufacturers are getting bigger and bigger that it invades even the most far flung area around the globe.

Indeed, car manufacturers are living by the maxim - there is no better way to stay clued-up and on the newest emerging vehicle makes and breakthroughs than to bring them to the potential customers territories. It is only then that barriers are crossed and the viability of sales can be deemed to be forthcoming.

Lots of new vehicle models will swarm Africa in said auto show. Included in the display are vehicles from Ford, General Motors, Jaguar, Land Rover, Toyota, Volkswagen and more. Alfa Spider, Hummer H3, Tata Safari cars will also be displayed. These cars will be having their first appearance in South Africa in said auto show. Toyota, Ford, Volkswagen and Chrysler accessories will also be part of the display.

The expo is held every second year and this 2006 much-anticipated expo is going to be the fifth. Models and makes are fresh from the recent Paris auto show. Expo Africa will feature cars, trucks, motorcycles, accessories from the big names in the auto industry. There will also be live stage shows, adventure simulators and displays of classic cars, custom vehicles and dragsters as well as hovercraft rides.

October 26 and 27 is scheduled for news media and VIPs. Said expo will be opened for public on the 28th of October. Tickets are priced at R50. Said tickets will be available this month at the Computicket.
