Most recruiters realize that the typical approach for screening and qualifying a candidate who is actively seeking new employment is vastly different from the approach required when contacting passive candidates.

For best results, when contacting passive candidates that you've either sourced yourself or have obtained from one of our Passive Candidate Names Reports, we suggest using an email or phone script similar to the one below.


EXAMPLE SCRIPT

Subject: Re: Director of Process Engineering Position

Hello (First Name),

We're searching for a highly experienced Director of Process Engineering.
Our firm has been retained by (Client Company) to contact Process Engineering Directors around the Country about an excellent career opportunity that (Client Company) currently has available.

You may be aware that (Client Company) is a multi-billion dollar biotech company with more than a dozen biopharmaceutical products on the market, and many more in their pipeline. They've recently had a number of new products approved by the FDA and right now they're experiencing tremendous growth... they're expanding current manufacturing facilities, as well as building new start-up facilities...

Naturally, this is creating many exciting career opportunities... and the chance to
be involved in the design, commissioning, and start up of a new state-of-the-art biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility. This is definitely a good time to take a
