Sunburns can be Treated with Online Skin Care Tips

By adam fazer

There is nothing as enjoyable as spending a day outside with friends, relatives or your dear ones especially in a sunny day. But unfortunately, an overexposure of your skin to sun causes serious results like sunburn. Obviously sunburn is common and nobody can skip it. But one should know the fact that over exposure to sun can lead to certain consequences like premature aging of the skin. The skin becomes wrinkled and the overall layers of the skin get reduced. Sunburn causes skin to turn red and blister and several days later, the dead skin cells peel off.

Unfortunately, if you are sunburned, it's a wise move to care your skin and wait for it to heal. Remember, a short exposure can cause tanning while a longer exposure can cause burns. This means that all you need to do to prevent sunburn is limit your UV exposure. Fortunately, there are lots of online skin care tips to relieve the pain caused due to sunburn. Following are some of the online skin care tips to soothe your skin from sunburn that proves to be very effective-

•Use skin moisturisers and after sun lotions containing Aloe-Vera generously on the skin. For an extra soothing experience store the lotion in the fridge to keep cool.

•To remove dead and peeling skin always use a loofah or other exfoliant.

•It is suggested to use a sunscreen with a sun protection factor i.e. SPF and use it thoroughly paying special attention to the sensitive areas.

•Use some skin friendly ingredients like aloe-vera, cocoa butter, vitamin E, lavender oil and tea.

•Cold compresses and cool baths will help a lot to ease the pain.

•Protect the eyes with good quality sunglasses.

But remember, if you normally don't spend much time under the sun; better avoid the thought of spending a longer time under the sun. Always prefer a sun protection cream with a high SPF before going out. If somehow your skin gets the burning sensation, quit the place and move to a shady place.
