Details of the Subaru MasterCard Application

By Beth Derkowitz

Do you currently own a Subaru vehicle? Are you planning to purchase or lease a new Subaru vehicle within the next 4 years? If so, then you might be interested in these details of the Subaru MasterCard Application. The Subaru MasterCard is designed for people with good credit looking to invest in a Subaru vehicle. This reward program allows you to earn a 3% rebate on all general purchases you make with this Subaru MasterCard.

The rebates can then be redeemed toward the purchase or lease of a new Subaru vehicle, Subaru accessories, or regular servicing (such as oil changes) at an authorized Subaru dealership. So if you have now, or plan on getting a Subaru, this card is best for you. You get a $100 coupon for every $3,333 you spend with the card, with a maximum of $500 that can be earned per year. The coupons will expire in four years and you can't earn more than $2,000 in rebates for the four-year period.

This is a high rebate for a reward card but the Subaru MasterCard also has the same great benefits you can expect from a platinum card such as up to $500,000 in travel accident insurance, auto rental insurance and various other travel and emergency related services. The card has a 0% introductory rate for the first 6 months on purchases and balance transfers. After that intro period, the APR goes up to 13.99% on purchases and 23.99% on cash advances.

Keep in mind that the rebate coupons can not be traded in for cash or used for anything else not related to Subaru so if you do not have one already or plan to get one soon, you will not really benefit from this as a reward card. There is no annual fee and no minimum or maximum credit limit on this card. There is also no fee for adding additional cardholders.
