Details of the American Express Business Gold Card Application

By Beth Derkowitz

Do you want to know the details of the American Express Business Gold Card application? If you are a business owner with good credit that is looking for a great charge card to use for business related expenses that also has a great rewards program then you may enjoy this card.

The card has no pre-set spending limit; however, purchases are approved based on credit record, account history, and personal resources. There are no additional fees for participating in the rewards program. This card does not give you the option to pay your balances over time but it does help your business from accumulating high credit card debt which results in high interest fees so this can be a bonus safety feature for your business. There is an annual fee of $125 for the main cardholder and $45 for additional cardholders.

The rewards program for the American Express Business Gold Card is very flexible and offers a variety of merchandise and services that your points can be redeemed for. The points never expire and there is no maximum on the number of points you can accumulate so these are other bonuses to using this card. You earn 1 point for every $1 you spend on general purchases and you also have the benefits of earning additional points through participating merchants.

If you can afford to pay in full each month and not have a revolving balance on your card than this is a great option for your business that pays off in great rewards with the more you use it. You will also receive 5,000 bonus points after your first purchase, 5,000 bonus points for reaching $20,000 in spending, 20,000 additional bonus points for reaching $50,000 in spending, and another 10,000 bonus points upon the one-year renewal of the card. With a spending average of just $5,000 per month, you can earn up to 100,000 points or more in the first year alone, making the rewards program one of the best of its kind for businesses.
