Meet The 2007 Nissan Versa Hatchback

By Sarah McBride

At long last. June 23rd was when the 2007 Nissan Versa Hatchback went on sale throughout the United States. And it sure is good news for all those who are clamoring to own this new model year version. The 2007 Nissan Versa Hatchback holds a 1.8 liter DOHC engine with four cylinders that could produce some 122 units of horsepower as standard. It is also equipped with a six speed manual transmission system. And all these, you can get in just one vehicle that holds a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price, or MSRP, or under $13,000. Well, $12,450 to be exact.

Manufactured by Nissan Motors, the Nissan Versa is a vehicle that has been produced since 2004. It actually took the spots that were occupied by the Nissan Pulsar and the Nissan Sunny in the car manufacturer's line up. It is a subcompact vehicle and has been built in two body styles which comprise of the sedan with four doors and the hatchback that holds five. An FF B platform was used in crafting this vehicle. As per its competition in the automobile market, the list includes the Chevrolet Aveo, Honda Fit, Mazda Mazda2, Toyota Belta and the Toyota Vitz.

Brad Bradshaw is the vice president and the general manager, as well, of the Nissan brand and he states, "The all new 2007 Nissan Versa is a no compromise subcompact that offers the quality, style, roominess, comfort, performance, and amenities that are unexpected in this class and this price range."

Indeed, the 2007 Nissan Versa Hatchback is one of the most low-priced vehicles available in the market. Yet, despite this, everything seems to be in working order and everything has been made from good quality. This new vehicle has been made available for the market in three models which comprise of the Versa 1.8 S for $13,250; the Versa 1.8 SL for $14,450; and the Versa 1.8 SL with Nissan's advanced Xtronic CVT™ for $15,450.

Fun to drive, the 2007 Nissan Versa is also balanced and has a unique appeal. Nissan parts like Maxima parts can be purchased from Auto Parts Deal as well as quality and durable accessories.
