Receiving Top Rankings at PropBot.com (Part One) - Titles and Descriptions

By Patty Webb

Many people just like yourself use PropBot.com to sell or rent their property. PropBot.com is becoming a popular means of renting and selling property because listings are free. When you add in a property, it is important to pay attention to what you put in your property listing. You want to make sure your ranking is higher than your competitor's so that your property will be shown first. PropBot.com lists properties based on a ranking system. The more information you enter, the higher the ranking you will receive; therefore others see your property before the competitor's who have less information about their property.

Propbot.com works on text based algorithms as well as the standard searches for properties. For example, if your target market is searching for: "homes near Chicago", you will need all of those words within your description for them to view your property. Of course your description shouldn't only contain the three words "homes near Chicago", but instead, it can read: "homes near Chicago with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, close to public transportation, near university, water included, one year lease....". PropBot.com provides you with a 500 word description for the exterior of your property, so you can enter in as much of a description as you like...to really try to "sell" your property!

What you have to remember is that when you add in a property, PropBot.com will allow you a description of the exterior AND a description for the interior. (Land of course does not have an interior, therefore PropBot.com only provides one description area - the exterior.)

Not only do you want to describe the exterior, location and features of your property, but you also want to focus on describing the interior of your property as well. People might be looking for "granite countertops" or "stainless steel appliances" as a feature, and if you don't have it in your listing, yours will be passed by.

Make sure your property listings on PropBot.com have complete descriptions and you will receive more traffic to your property.
