Why the Philippines..

Here in the Philippines if we talk about outsourcing, the first thing that
will come to your mind is only the call center industry. But in reality,
outsourcing here in the Philippines are subdivided to Medical Transcription,
Animation, Shared Financial & Accounting Services, and Software Development
Services.
Basically Outsourcing begins when a company chooses a consultant or
application service provider to manage components of its internal IT
structure, staff, processes and applications. This allows the organization
to remain focused on its business goals.
The Philippines offer those services to US-owned companies who base their
outsourcing companies here in the country. Customer contact center or simply
call center services, includes a physical location where calls are placed,
or received, in high volume for the purposes of sales, marketing, customer
service, telemarketing, technical support or other specialized business
activity. Those in line with sales have also subdivide labors of inbound
and outbound acquisitions, promote customer loyalty programs, take in
catalogue orders, and introduce new products. While in research, call
centers deals with the assurance of customer satisfaction levels or conduct

Philippines also plays a good role in this area for they offer a service
highly familiar with US medical standards, terminology and practices.
Animation is the creating of a timed sequence or series of graphic images or
frames together to give the appearance of continuous movement. And in the
Philippines this kind of work is being quite known making them competent of
those in Hong Kong. They have hosted to different animations such as
“Scooby Doo,” “Tom and Jerry,” “Addams Family,” “The Mask,” “The Jetsons,”
“Dragonball Z,” “Digimon,” and “Captain Planet,” some of which are
box-office hits. So we can say how adequate they are in this field of
outsourcing. Animation services includes pre-production to production
proper: storyboard, character designing, background designing, props
designing, layout keys, sheet direction, slugging, track reading and special
effects, creative/traditional- layout, background, animation, clean-up, in-
betweening and animation checking, digital background, scanning, ink and
paint, composting and rendering.
In outsourcing Shared Financial & Accounting Services involves, General
Accounting and Bookkeeping Services, Account Maintenance, Accounts
Receivable Collection, Accounts Payable Administration, Payroll, Asset
Management, Financial Analysis and Auditing, Management Consulting
(Management Advisory Services), Inventory Control and Purchasing
(Procurement), Expense and Revenue Reporting, Financial Reporting, Tax
Reporting, Other Financial-related services (financial leasing, credit
cards, factoring and stock brokering). The Philippines produces a lot of the
best accountants in the world providing companies of their standard service
at a lower cost.
The Philippines has been able to make a great impression regarding Software
Development Services, which is the arrangement of contract services rendered
locally for offshore clients or the assignment of manpower to the clients
facilities. The country can boast of its local IT service providers that can
integrate offshore back-office processing systems with US-based enterprise
resource planning (ERP) applications; and availability of low-cost
facilities in Metro Manila and in cyberparks.
With all that being proposed, the Philippines can be concretely recommended
as one of the best location in terms of outsourcing industry.
