Pharmacy and Online Pharmacy- The Basic Differences

Mark Brown just turned 65 years, yesterday. He had lost his wife,
two years ago to cancer and lived alone. He has always considered
himself to be an active member of his suburban community. On
retirement, he had become even more active. His weekly schedule
included a series of meetings with community associations. Mark, who
never missed the Sunday church service in 20 years, was unable to make
it this time. The reason - Arthritis.
While everyone knows that
arthritis is a disease that increasingly afflicts any person, as they
grow older, Mark was not actually late only because of arthritis. He
was late because he had forgotten to get his arthritis medicine from
the chemist in advance. The result, he went to bed on Saturday without
his medicine and by Sunday, his arthritis had worsened to such an
extent that he was unable to move without considerable pain. The
pharmacy in his suburban neighborhood was closed on Sunday.
As the
pain worsened, he telephoned Mrs Hardley, his immediate neighbour and
asked her to drive him to a chemist outside their neighborhood. She
soon took out the car and began a search for chemists in the vicinity.
After driving almost 25 km, they managed to locate a 24 hour chemist.
The pharmacist initially misread the prescription. But, Mark who was a
regular user, immediately noticed the difference. He had mistook the
brand name of the arthritis drug that Mark used for that of an
anti-psychotic drug. Imagine if Mark had taken it. Eventually to their
extreme disappointment, they did not have the medication that Mark
wanted.
So they were again on the road, searching for another
chemist. 6 hours and 3 chemists later, they finally reached one which
had his medication. Even then they had to wait in line for atleast half
an hour because of the Sunday rush. They already had driven 70 kms. Mrs
Hardley, a retired school teacher, did not mince words when she told
Mark that planning was an important part of life and she was ashamed
that she had not seen it with him - a 65 years old. Extremely
embarrassed, tired and still in pain. Mark finally got home. He only
felt better, after, he took the medication. But he took at least a week
to get back into his normal rhythm. Even then he was not at ease. He
thought of ordering a month's supply of medication in advance but
realized that it would affect his household cashflow. Since the only
source of income was his pension, he could not do that. He found the
neighborhood pharmacy very costly and despite being a regular customer,
got no discounts.The staff were arrogant and he had to wait for at
least half an hour before he got his medication. Since it was he was
well known in the pharmacy, if he purchased any new drug, the entire
neighborhood found out about it. There was absolutely no privacy. He
just could not sleep. If only he had an answer to solve his pharmacy
problems.
If only Mark had looked on his bedroom table. On the
table was his personal computer, which he used to send e-mails to his
daughter in France. What Mark did not know was that in that computer
lay an option that would solve his problems forever. The option is -

the entire month's supply of drugs. This can save a lot of money for
the patient.
Today, Mark buys all his medications from the online
pharmacy. Not only has he been able to save money, but he is at his
healthiest. For those of you, for are reading this and are still going
