Lincoln Aviator is Lincoln's Continuation with its Tradition

By Pamela Hewitt

An American luxury automobile brand, the Lincoln is operated under the Ford Motor Company. Henry M. Leland, one of the founders of the Cadillac, named this brand such after his longtime hero Abraham Lincoln. Leland has voted for him during the 1860 presidential elections. Lincoln, the company, has certainly been close with presidents of the U.S., not just because it was named after an American president, but because many U.S. presidents had been using this vehicle during their stay in office, with Calvin Coolidge, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Harry S. Truman, Dwight David Eisenhower, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, Gerald R. Ford, James Earl Carter Jr., Ronald Wilson Reagan, George H. W. Bush, and Andrew Johnson leading the pack.

One of the creations of the Lincoln brand of automobiles is the Lincoln Aviator which is a four-door luxury sport-utility vehicle that has the capacity to take in up to seven passengers. It has been made available in two trims, which includes the 4X2 Luxury and the A WD Luxury. When it was introduced, both the trims have been equipped with the standard 4.6 liter, V8, 302-horsepower engine that has the capability to achieve 13-mpg in the city and while on the highway, it could take in 18-mpg. Standard for both the trims is the 5-speed automatic transmission.

A plus point for this midsize luxury sport utility vehicle is that it has the most flexible seating and the roomiest cabin for the Lincoln Aviator offers the best-in-class front-seat headroom and legroom, along with a choice of bucket or bench seats in the second row, which is something that is not offered by other midsized luxury SUVs. Another exclusive for this model is that it has available front heated and cooled seats. Standard for its third-row seats is that it could fold flat to the floor, and the optional second-row 40/20/40 split bench seat is combined with the standard third-row seats, thus offering a seating capacity for up to seven adult passengers.

The Lincoln Aviator's cargo capacity is something else which can hold 77 cubic feet, which comes with no compromise to the passenger roominess and comfort which is a leader in its class. With its 302-horsepower engine, it is able to provide athletic performance to complement its fully independent suspension and variable assist rack-and-pinion steering.

Lincoln Auto Parts provides you with a complete line of the highest quality Lincoln performance parts, and custom automobile parts which are highly dependable and proven. These are in stock to meet all standards and preferences.

The Lincoln Aviator has clear-cut qualities such as bold and distinctive exterior design; an interior that is rich and inviting with high-quality materials throughout; and a driving experience that could be both luxurious and spirited, as in accordance to whatever desires of its driver. This model is a luxury SUV. It offers buyers a luxury automobile with the comfort and refinement that only a Lincoln could exude.
